Levels of Care
We offer multiple levels of outpatient care. That way, we can meet you or your loved one looking for outpatient opioid rehab centers in Ohio where they’re at and help them transition from their most intensive level of care back into their new, sober day-to-day life smoothly.
Intensive Outpatient Program in Cincinnati
Our intensive outpatient program in Cincinnati is the ideal starting point for almost all clients seeking outpatient opioid rehab centers. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Resurge Recovery meets regularly throughout the week and provides care that is more thorough and structured than our traditional outpatient program. In IOP, you’ll participate in a set of weekly groups, individual therapy, and other treatment activities. IOP is flexible and gives clients time to return to activities like work, school, or home life while getting support from our treatment team and doing intensive healing work.
Some clients attend IOP at Resurge Recovery after completing an inpatient rehab program elsewhere. However, those able to manage cravings and other symptoms outside of IOP treatment hours also attend our IOP frequently without ever attending an inpatient rehab facility. When we give you or your loved one facing opioid addiction an intake assessment, we’ll help you determine an ideal starting level of care for you.
Outpatient Program in Cincinnati
Our outpatient program in Cincinnati is most ideal for those transitioning out of IOP. When you use a step-down approach from IOP to our traditional outpatient program, you can make a smoother transition out of a higher level of care and get adequate support along the way. Outpatient clients continue receiving therapy, learning about themselves, working toward a long-term and sustainable recovery, and rebuilding relationships, among other goals. However, this level of care is far less intensive than IOP, with a lower time commitment per week.
Medication-Assisted Treatment at our Opioid Rehab Center
Medication can be a crucial tool in addiction recovery. At our Ohio opioid rehab center, we use special medications approved by the FDA to treat opioid addiction. These medications may include:
- Methadone
- Buprenorphine
- Suboxone
- Sublocade
- Naltrexone
These medications can help reduce cravings, which plays an important part in preventing relapse and maintaining recovery long-term. To ensure comprehensive support, we complement these medications with counseling services that address the root causes of addiction. These therapy sessions help you build coping strategies and develop life skills necessary to preserve your recovery and make positive, healthy changes.
