MaryAnn McQuillian O'Malley, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS

MaryAnn O’Malloy is excited to be the new Chief Clinical Officer at Resurge Recovery. They have worked in the field of behavioral health for over 30 years. They have served trauma survivors and substance users for most of their career and continue to see clients individually.

MaryAnn brings many years of experience as a Clinical Director to this position. MaryAnn has extensive training and experience in substance use disorders, mental health issues, trauma informed care, problem gambling, human trafficking, and LGBTQIA+ issues. They are also a trained EMDR counselor.

MaryAnn taught Master’s level counseling students for over a dozen years, helping to mentor new counselors in the field.

MaryAnn is in recovery for over 35 years. They live in Cincinnati with their spouse, step kid, dog, cat, goldfish and other assorted neighborhood animals who come and go.
